All referrals, either self or company referred, undergo an initial clinical assessment of wellbeing and risk factors before being referred to the most appropriate support. This information is confidential.
However, if your Occupational Health department requires a formal Mental Health Assessment (MHA) as part of your health and safety policy regarding risk, employee wellbeing, long term sickness or absence or return to work, we are able to offer an in-depth assessment with a consented written report to which your employee will also have access.
A mental health assessment examines an employee’s mental health. It gives them the opportunity to discuss any pre-existing mental health conditions, any that have arisen whilst they’ve worked at your company, or any factors at work that are affecting their mental health. For example, the pressure of tight deadlines.
A Mental Health Assessment:
• is essential for promoting positive mental health in the workplace.
• suitable for depression, anxiety, stress, and other mental health conditions.
• complies with return-to-work policies
• identifies any reasonable adjustments that may need to be made including any consideration under the Equality Act 2010.
Mental Health Assessments are completed by experienced Mental Health professionals who are able to provide an objective perspective to assist you in meeting the mental health support your employee may require to be a healthy and productive team member.
